Questions about renting out
What does it cost to rent out?
It is free to list a cabin. You pay 8% of the rent on each booking, including VAT. A week at SEK 8,000 then costs SEK 640.
Guests pay no fee, and there is no monthly fee.
When do I get paid?
The guest pays only once you have confirmed the booking and payment through Stugtid has opened, always on Stugtid. How and when the rent is paid out will be explained here when payments open.
What do I need to get paid?
A bank account in your name and an ID check with the payment partner, when payment through Stugtid opens. Before your first booking, you also need to provide the information that the Swedish Tax Agency requires of us, such as your Swedish personal identity number and the cabin's property designation.
Can someone help me list my cabin?
Yes. Get in touch and our team can create the listing for you and send you an invitation. You sign in, check everything and publish.
Can I sync my calendar with other sites?
Yes. Add the calendar link (iCal) from the other sites, and give them our link in return. Dates booked elsewhere are then blocked.
Do you report to the Swedish Tax Agency?
Yes. The law requires Stugtid to submit an annual statement of the rent you have received through the service. How you should declare the rent yourself is explained by the Swedish Tax Agency.
I have many cabins. Is there something for me?
Yes: import from a file, API, calendar sync and multiple users, for the same 8% of the rent. We help with the first import.
